“Alice” was the pseudonymous name of the teenaged author who wrote the book upon which this above-average TV movie was based. Jamie Smith-Jackson portrays a shy, slightly overweight high schooler who is so anxious for acceptance that she falls in with the drug crowd. In a methodical, almost casual matter, we see how Alice descends into a nether world of pushers, pimps and prostitution. Perhaps to make the point that this could be the story of any impressionable youth, few of the characters are identified by name: Julie Adams plays “The Mother,” William Shatner “The Professor,” Andy Griffith “The Priest,” and so on. Filmed in a cinema-verite fashion, Go Ask Alice makes excellent use of relatively unfamiliar Los Angeles locations. — Hal Erickson

I’ve seen some shit in my time but nobody that moved like that..Jeeez, poor guy!
This situation is TRAGIC !!! I am a former user, but never reach these depths that we see here in this video. My prayers are with him.
I’m sorry to hear if anyone is struggling with drug addictions of any type. If you want help, and can’t find help, or if the help you seek isn’t helping you. Try what I have done. Accepted Jesus as Lord in your life. ask him to help you with your addiction, and make a vow to him that you will live for him. If you sincerely desire to stop your addiction then God will deliver you from that stronghold in your life.
Prepare for your life to be changed. Bless you. HE HAS DELIVERED ME : )
@TickleMehNancy Its the physical withdrawl that makes people jerk around, drugs afftect the brain and nervous system, the reason people use drugs is to kill the pain of their inheritance like this mans parents were addicts he feels inferior because he was never raised right because there is no unified understanding in religious ideal to how we are being affected by economic transgression, its in the bible but grosly mis understood.
All the prayer in the world will not help this man, he needs a good long term recovery program and training for an occupation, we are all addicts materialism is addiction and there is no equality as there are no principles in our society though people assume that empathy accounts for our charity…

thanks for you,too for the information!Yes I know Parkinson’s awful disease unfortunately,my step grandfather had that and died soon after doctors realised he had that….his changed,deviated way of walking gave him away:-( Sorry for any mistakes of mine,my mothertongue is NOT English!I am not sure I wrote everything right. @wannaknowit crack affects the dopamine system which can cause twitches. You ever heard of diseases like Parkinson’s which causes twitching? It is because of defects in the dopamine pathways. Antipsychotic drugs to treat psychosis and schizophrenia also causes such twitching as side effects as they inhibit dopamine release (while crack releases dopamine to large degrees).

I agree with you,though I know a few exceptions…few people who are not addicted to video games,sex,and all those things we can get hooked up on.But those people are really very few!(I know only 2-3) ……I am addicted to chocolate..sweet things:-((((That is not good at all and causes overweight…and I know I am the reason for it..I can only be angry at MYSELF….that is the hardest…when I can not blame somebody else only myself…:-((((

@wannaknowit from experience myself of seeing people high on crack, crack can affect some people like this, u can call it a “crack twitch” , also as he said he has been awake for 4 days, so he also prob sleep deprived, which i think would maybe contribute to his “twitch” like symptoms. it wont prob last that long, i think he is like freshly high off a hit of crack, but as i dont know him it may also just be a side effect to him personally when he uses, neway hope that helps.

What is the reason for his movements? The certain drug he had taken causes him to gyrate or I dont know how I should call it,move a strange way?Does it last for hours or for minutes?When the the effect wears off,will he stop moving like this?Thanks for the answer in advance!
I wonder how people can laugh at this video, or criticize this poor guy. Are they too much stupid to understand that he is a VICTIM, and sure, has not choosen this situation? He is just a victim of the life, and need help. About all people who criticize, i I wonder what they might have become in life if their parents died from overdose, etc. This guy is, according to me, in the worst human state: he is dead-alive.
