  2. questions117 says:

Um it doesnt all stem from a bad body image. Theres a lot of psychological issues like low self esteem and stuff. And even chemical imbalances in the brain.

I’m a girl and I weigh 92 PBS and in five two.

  13. 1Teeka1 says:

I have about 300 calories a day. I work out for only about 30minutes and still losing about 0.4 kg a day… I think about food all day every day and want to constantly work out but I have a child and can’t work out much…I try not to talk about food and I have told a friend that I think I have an ED… I know I do now… but I won’t confirm it with him… I wont get help till I’m happy with my body image though… even if it kills me…

  15. alwaysUmpteen says:

I’ve been in hospitals with girls who have no body image issues, but still had really horrible eating disorders. I don’t think I can say this enough:
It has NOTHING to do with weight/food!
That’s what EVERYTHING is hidden behind!

And “If you’re having these symptoms, you should seek help”

You should seek help at whatever freaking stage of an eating disorder you’re at.

You can’t put a face/body/mind set on an eating disorder.

  16. Putas101 says:

I’m average and eat alot…but I constantly talk about my weight, exercise, and food i ate and how i’d lose weight and stuff to my friends and family…also, my weight is like a yoyo…1 week i’m 130, then the next week i’m 142 lbs.!! and i workout everyday even when my body hurts…man i think that’s the sign of eating disorder..wouldn’t u guys agree? and when i workout out, i eat so little or none at all for the whole day. but when i don’t exercise, i eat about 3,400 calories!!!

  17. daddyslilspoiltbrat says:

…JimmyMaverick…what are you talking about? like really? do you think it is funny, because what you just said makes no sense at all….do you listen to what comes out of your mouth? like really? i can understand someone who says, “just eat something!” or something like that but what you said ABSOLUTELY makes no sense at all. i thought i would just let YOU know that..

  23. gabe6662345 says:

im a fatty lol :| but i dont have eating disorder

  24. hsttraindriver says:

Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness and an eating disorder is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.

  25. BroadwayPhoenix says:

Again, I feel that facilities on campus need to be better in order to prevent this. If you have class all day, and the only place to get food is where you cannot bring food out of the area, it is near impossible to eat. I know I have had to skip meals because I had no food available to me. I started to bring stuff like Boost and Slimfast to class just so I could get by. Now that I have my own apartment, I make a lunch, but what about those who are in the situation I was in?

  26. MissAliciaDee says:

….And apart from being just an outright cruel and spiteful thing to say, calling her a “walking whale” is a load of bull anyway. When you see the photos of her from back then, she’s not even in the slightest bit overweight, she’s got a really slim, sporty figure. I mean you couldn’t even call her “well built” or “a little plump”, The guy must be f**ing blind, and the girls just plain jealous and bitchy

  27. MissAliciaDee says:

OMG! I just got2 the “walking whale” part now & like below, WTF! Not only shame on the guy but on the rest of them 2! She’s at/been invited 2a party, so presumably most, or at least some of the people there, r her friends! Some f**ing friends who announce that sort of thing in front of an entire silent filled room. Ok, I agree she should know what a 1st rate ass the guy she likes is, but whatever happened 2taking some1 2 1side & letting them know that way? Poor girl been humiliated like that!

  28. Mymusic930 says:

    @fleurdesneiges99

Yes, i was wondering too. I think she´s proud of it! That´ so wrong

  29. mahound9 says:

This show looks like a form of lurid exploitation.

  30. LuluLiefdeHaat says:

walking whale?? i swear some guys can be such idiots. they should look at themselves in the mirror once in a while before saying rude stuff to others. that boy is probally married now. to a special someone named jeff. -.-

  31. Macskafogo says:

I also have diabetes type 1. Diabulimia is a horrible thing, it’s sooo dangerous for the body. I cannot really see an advantage like “You can eat whatever you want and lose weight.” You can’t. Or at least I can’t. Skipping the insulin (or forgetting to inject, that happens to me sometimes) causes the worst bellyaches, tiredness, a feeling that you will throw up. The last thing I would think of would be food.

  32. karlkarlkarl1234 says:

I would love to have a bit of the anorexia gene in me at the moment. Living next to a McDonalds is so damn annoying :) Hot cakes in the morning are just too tempting.

  34. mindsjourney says:

@trogdorburningator she is 5′7″. body composition has alot to do with it i guess. :)

  35. mindsjourney says:

@trogdorburningator she is 5′7″. body composition has alot to do with it i guess. :)

  36. trogdorburningator says:

@mindsjourney thanks for the reply! i’m just wondering how tall she is. 105 wouldn’t look that skinny on a 5′2″ girl, but on a 5′11″ girl it would. I’m 5′7″ and don’t look nearly that skinny, so i’m wondering is she’s just taller than i am, so it’s “skinnier” on her, or if maybe some people story fat inside and so look really skinny and some store on the surface so they can be the same weight and height but don’t look very skinny?

  37. mindsjourney says:

@trogdorburningator are you saying she weighs less than that? or more than that?

  38. trogdorburningator says:

i don’t get it… how tall is the lady at the beginning? I’M 105lbs, 5′7″ and not even CLOSE to that skinny. maybe it’s just where your body stores fat or something?

  39. teaaheart says:

The second lady kind of looks like Natalie portman

  44. sarchy88 says:

@posje It is not your ex partners fault. I have been anorexic and bulimic since i was 12. I am 22 now and i am fighting so hard against the disorders. Do you really think you need to destroy your life for your ex partner? you are not punishing him because he DOESNT CARE, you are punishing yourself. And he is not worth it. Fight! Trust me you can do it, please fight!

  45. litschi1986 says:

@posje Good advice from someone who had anorexia and lives to tell about it: Stop blaming other people for what you are doing. Yes, I guess your ex partner was/ is an asshole. That don’t mean, you have to force yourself through such a hell as an ED! It’s not him who doesn’t let you eat normal. It’s you! So, fight it! It’s hard, but it’s worth the whole effort! Belive me!

  46. posje says:

@puttytat96 im 42…working hard to bring post for 6 hours a day…6 days in a week..eat bread with salade or give it to the dogs and cats…all that because my ex partner betray me with young girls from 18/19 with a super thinny body….in the evening maybe salad with some bread en one potato…no meat..
