Goodbye Ed, Hello Me: Recover from Your Eating Disorder and Fall in Love with Life
Don’t Battle an Eating Disorder Forever- Recover from It Completely
Jenni Schaefer and Ed (eating disorder) are no longer on speaking terms, not even in her most difficult moments. In her bestseller, Life Without Ed, Jenni learned to treat her eating disorder as a relationship, not a condition-enabling her to break up with Ed once and for all. In Goodbye Ed, Hello Me Jenni shows you that being fully recovered is not just about breaking free from destructive behaviors with food and having a healthy relationship with your body; it also means finding joy and peace in your life. “Jenni Schaefer has dedicated her life to helping people overcome their eating disorders and live life to the fullest. She is an inspiration to all!” –Dr. Phil
“Every young woman and man interested in overcoming disordered eating should read this treasure of a book.”

i appreciate the comments saying that the girl in the mirror is beautiful, because i have the same body type, and i was feeling a little self conscious, now i feel great!
thanks sooo much~!
I cried when I saw this because i had a eating disorder that made me eat too much. I thne went anorexic, but then i relized that i really was skinny, because after four months of anorexia, I never lost weight. I was the same weight starving myself as i was eating too much. I was already skin and bones, and still i’m made fun of for being fat…..
the girl in the mirror has a beautiful body! and when it zoomed out to the anorexic girl, i gasped.
that was scary. and sad.
She looks like Hayley Hasselfoff…am i the only one that thinks that?!
I’d hit both of them
@eljagg01 and yes they are a little more tragic if you are EXTREMELY thin i’m not saying their not tragic if you are at a normal weight or above and stuff, but when you get down so low you could die, i almost did. the thinner you are though with it it is more tragic because i could have had a heart attack in my sleep that’s what they told me anytime and i am young
@eljagg01 no that’s not what they are trying to do they are trying to show people what someone with an eating disorder thinks of themself. i have an eating disorder and am currently in recovery and unless you’ve had one you have no idea what this DISEASE does to your mind…
I can totally relate to this video i had/ have an eating disorder. i went to a rehab facilty for 3 weeks and am currently in recovery. People need to realized eating disorders are NOT a choice, they are a DISEASE. you can’t truly understand what one is unless you’ve had one to know what it does to your mind. Girls out there love your body and don’t let ED ruin your life, because i can tell you from experience and right now in the process with my nutrionst to gain weight it sucks!
I would tap that
Ok Im alone in my basement and I got kinda freaked out watching the end.
@Xtinahosso saeglopur by sigur ros They’re amazing.
Great message for young girls: body shame and eating disorders are only tragic if you’re skinny.
Thanks for posting this advert, it’s really poignant but so true..
@Xtinahosso Sæglópur by Sigur Rós.
What is the name of the song on this video? x
@Rinotanashi
Is there one that doesn’t have singing in it?
that scared me. i think everybody should be happy wiht there bodys especally at younger ages xx
@jacobswolfgirl112 saeglopur- sigur ros
What’s the music?
@RainbowMonkey43 exactly!!
i look just like the girl in the mirroor so just emagn how do i see myself
this is disturbing :/
anorexia sucks, BIG TIME
if you have to ask someone on youtube if you have an eating disorder, you probably have an eating disorder.
@Ceraphinas are you stoops? the girl is stick thin and convinced she’s a little pudgy, it’s her percieved body image when in truth she’s a fucking stick.
I really hope that she gets better. Im struggling myself but erica is such a beautiful girl, I hope she is better/getting better
Don’t care for the song either. But, such a beautiful girl. I hope she is doing alright.
@elibeth121 oh, look… it’s you on ANOTHER video like this… again why do you watch these if you’re so hypocritical?
umm thats sad she is really pretty.
BUHUHUHU WEEEEH :¨*(
@elibeth121 Your such an idiot, and you obviously dont know what your talking about, you just sound stupid. Its a mental disease, you cant help it, just like you cant help getting depressed.
Erica is inpirational..She fought her ed and won!
You do get an eating disorder it is a choice
@LglEglElle I disagree, normally people maintain the same mental functions but everyone is open to change, eating disorders are a psychological problem and this can happen to most anyone, anytime…..
You’re so pretty
@laurennisdopee, Hey. I believe she’s doing a lot better now. She’s on Facebook. It’s recently been updated. In pictures she looks healthy and happy, and she’s in a relationship. I’m so thrilled for her. She seriously looks glowing with health (some how even prettier than in this video)!
Erica. Wow. Always the pretty ones. You’re gorgeous. To me it looks like you’d be gorgeous at any weight! I know eating disorders are more complex than appearances alone, though. My God, I hope you escape this before you kill yourself. I hope you’ll look back one day and it’ll all seem like a bad dream!
How u getting on?
What the song called
wow, a great video that isn’t actually triggering, thank you
(Gissade att du var svensk)
Fint med Astrid Lindgrens varld ocksa!
God I know how yall feel…. all toooooo well
no, not a “diet”, it’s a mental illness… I guess sometimes it can start out as a diet, but… it’s about control, not being thin.
@xxsoftballbaby3 I have an eating disorder and I starve myself. See, I just made it up.
@bethangil Define crazy.
are you crazy or what?
is she still alive..? she’s gorgeous, but wow. a diet did that?
trgd89 You cant just make up an eating disorder. Its a mental illness, if your simply just trying to get one it wont work beacuse youll give in from starving your body. Having an eating disorder is one of the worst things in the world and i can promise you this girl definitely wasnt trying to get one for some fun.
I don’t think she truly has an eating disorder. I’ve seen many girls make up these disorders for attention because they have stale personalities and lives. She seems to be a classic case of this.
S000 touching thx 4 sharing XX;)
such a shame when you consider how pretty she is…
