Drug Rehab?

Question by tell: Drug Rehab?
So my husband is ready for rehab. He abuses his prescription medication, and takes pills that are also not prescribed to him. However He is worried about going to a inpaitent rehab due to me not being able to pay the bills alone and we have two kids. I was wondering how successful is outpaitent rehab and is it just as effective and inpaitent?
To Douglas, He himself made the choice to go to rehab, he actually told me I could go live with his mom if worst come to worst. I myself are also worried about the bills and just wonder this question too.

Excuses, excuses. Hon, addicts are master manipulators.
He’s using your fears of being able to support yourself to manipulate you into supporting him in a play for a compromise treatment programme, or maybe he’s just not ready like he’s leading you into thinking.

Tell him to worry about just one thing for now, & that’s starting on his journey to recovery, and to leave the rest up to you.

I can promise you he’ll keep on finding ways to worm out of entering treatment if you allow it.

In is the best bet. Be strong for him, addiction is a powerful thing.

in patient is the best, however if this is what he really wants & he being truthful it woouldn’t matter if he’s in or out he’ll do it,but it sounds like he not serious about this, sounds like he’s making excuses,if you & his mom have a good relationship go 4 it,even though some go in 4 treatment, they still come out and use again,do whats best 4 you & your family, try it,but if he comes out & start using again you have to leave him,4 now just stand by him,he just maybe strong enough 4 out patient,GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR FAMILY,i’ll be praying 4 you guys, remember the part of your vows for better or for worst, just pray on your situation,God is good…..
